Title: Two Faces (o "Two-Faced")
Dimensions: 30x40 cm
Medium: Mixed media on canvas
Two Facesβ reflects the human tendency to discard what has already been used in pursuit of fresh opportunities. The composition is split into two contrasting halves: on the left, dark ocher tones and a collage of business newspaper clippings symbolize that which has been exploited and forgotten, representing the wearing down of ideas, structures, and people within the relentless cycle of metropolitan life. In stark contrast, the right side opens into a flat cyan background from which eye-shaped branches emerge, gazing forward to embody the allure of the new, the unexplored, and the promises of an undiscovered horizon.
